The facility, codenamed "Eclipse", is rumored to be working on a top-secret project, one that could potentially shift the balance of power in the region. Winter's mission is to infiltrate Eclipse, gather as much information as possible, and transmit it back to his handlers.
Lost in the storm, they find an old Soviet bunker. Inside: evidence that the real mole is , the facility’s cook—a former GRU officer who faked his death. Ivan has been poisoning officers to cover his tracks. Yelena is stabbed by Ivan, who escapes with the codes.
