The Resistance Banker
In the occupied Netherlands during World War II, banker Walraven van Hall (Barry Atsma) is asked to use his financial contacts to help the Dutch resistance. He doesn’t have to think about it for long. With his brother Gijs van Hall (Jacob Derwig), he comes up with a risky plan to take out huge loans and use the money to finance the resistance.
When this proves not enough, the brothers set about committing the biggest banking fraud in Dutch history, taking tens of millions of guilders out of the Dutch Central Bank – right under the noses of the Nazis.
But the bigger the operation gets, the more people it involves. And every day brings a bigger risk of someone making that one mistake that could put an end to the whole business – and the lives of the resistance bankers.

The "Bound by Connor" phenomenon serves as a fascinating case study for the complexities of fandom, highlighting both the creative potential and the darker aspects of fan culture. By acknowledging and discussing these issues, we can work towards a more nuanced understanding of the intricate relationships between fans, creators, and characters.
: In many stories, a "Connor" is defined by who they are related to. For example, in the Buffyverse, is the "miracle child" of two vampires, literally bound by blood to a destiny he didn't choose. Bound by Duty and Survival : Characters like Connor Lassiter are bound by the fight for their own life, while Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor) Assassin's Creed
The "binding" is rarely literal handcuffs (though those might make an appearance). It is psychological. Connor imposes a rule: You are mine. You do not leave. You are bound to me for your protection. This dynamic, known as a "captive/caretaker" or "possessive protector" trope, walks a fine line between coercion and devotion. The heroine resists, but her body and heart betray her logic.
Connor has never been content with one medium. By bridging the gaps between digital art, traditional canvas, and the written word, he ensures his message reaches every corner of the creative world. The Community: More Than Just Fans
