Picking up where the first film left off, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" follows Flint Lockwood (voiced by Bill Hader), a young inventor who has created a machine that can turn water into food. After saving the world from a giant spaghetti monster, Flint is recruited by his idol, famous explorer Chester V (voiced by Christopher Mintz-Plasse), to join him on an expedition to a mysterious island called "Swallow Falls." There, Flint and Chester V team up to stop a sinister plot to disrupt the global food supply.
