Grand Theft Auto V was developed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and later ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game's open-world physics, draw distance, texture resolution, and processing demands far exceed anything the PlayStation Portable—a handheld console released in 2004 with 32 MB of RAM—could ever handle. The PSP's maximum game size was approximately 1.8 GB on a Universal Media Disc (UMD), while GTA V requires over 65 GB of storage on PC. Even the most optimistic compression algorithms cannot bridge that gap.
