Before you hit the throttle, there is one “accessory” in that box that is more valuable than the spare tire pump or the allen wrench:

The manual suggests (for battery longevity) keeping the charge between 20% and 80% for daily use. Only charge to 100% if you plan a long journey. A depleted battery takes 6-8 hours
A depleted battery takes 6-8 hours. The charger light will be red (charging) and turn green (trickle charge). The manual says you can leave it on trickle for 2 hours, but not for 48 hours. Over-trickling can swell the battery casing.
