Synopsis Moses, born a Hebrew slave in ancient Egypt, is adopted and raised as an Egyptian prince. After discovering his true heritage and witnessing the suffering of his people, he flees into exile. Years later, God appears to Moses in the form of a burning bush and commands him to return to Egypt to free the Israelites.
