Since this is a legacy installer, modern operating systems like Windows 10 or 11 may require specific steps for smooth operation:

Competitive players still use 1.26 to watch old pro replays from the 2010–2015 era. Modern Warcraft can’t read those replay files. The Tatah repack can.

Only if you have an old offline machine, a sandboxed VM, and absolutely cannot find a clean 1.26 installer elsewhere. For everyone else, dig up your original CD key and patch down the official way.
