Gogoberidze rejects flashbacks as simple illustrations of the past. Instead, the three timelines coexist. A door opens in 2019, and young Eka from 1958 walks through it. This technique presents memory not as history, but as a living, painful, and beautiful presence. The film argues that the past is not over; it is merely another room in the house of the self.

The film follows (played by three actresses across different ages), a renowned Georgian filmmaker in her 80s. She returns to her family’s abandoned summer home by the Black Sea. While sorting through old photographs, letters, and film reels, she begins to drift between three periods of her life:
